The big issues I am having are with the 30% increase and the $$$surcharges. It makes sense alot of times to now buy a ticket instead of redeeming points. With some 'taxes and fees' above $500, the opportunity cost of using the points is huge.

And the 30% increase....we have covered it enough, but AC is getting more money already with higher 'taxes and fees'. Why do they need to collect more points AS WELL?

Probably not the worst plan on the globe, but certainly not the best anymore either.
