Took a bump on Sunday 1/4/09 at ORD for a UX ORD-ORF flight. Anticipated a DBCFREE lower 48 RT voucher, which works fine for my purposes. But the GA told me that because it was an overnight bump (was comped a night at the Wyndham O'Hare) I was eligible for a $600 travel credit voucher. Needless to say, I took it.

So not only are the travel credits still being given out, at least one ORD gate agent is actively pushing them on simple non-status flyers like myself.
