It sounds like we will simply make use of the brasserie until it is time for her to go through security. Fortunately she does not have problems walking- it is just that I had hoped to help guide her through the terminal to make it easier for her, etc...

I will see how much of a higher fare I would have to pay to rebook her on AF. I have noticed that there are flights on AF both to NRT and JFK leaving around 1:30 pm... if we could both get on those, that would be ideal. We could wait together in the AF lounge and leave at the same time (assuming flights run on time)

My mom is not that used to traveling alone, and frankly I know that CDG can be a test of even a seasoned FTer`s patience.

Anyway, even if she does stay on her AA flight, we will just plan to arrive early and go to the brasserie or terminal hotel. At least she will have access to the admirals club, which I have used before in CDG. Thankfully it is near the gates and I am sure the staff there will be good about announcements when they call the flight, etc...
