I got a refund on part of an unsed ticket that was orginally MEL-LHR return (didn't use the return portion). The situation was complicated by the fact the ticket was booked on the phone through the Perth call centre, departing Melbourne and I was in London trying to get a refund so there was a bit of back and forth about who should do the refund. Orginally told the standard 4 - 6 week to get a refund, this time passed and no refund. Called again and it appears the request never went through as after speaking to that rep, she sent an email confirmation of the refund request (which I didn't get previously) and the refund was in my account in 7 days.
