Offensive??? I'd would expect this to be a common restriction.
I am sure the goal in providing lounge access based on the fare class is to encourage people to buy seats (for everyone) in a class that gets everyone access, either on that carrier (or partners)
You mother has a C fare, entitling her to lounge access.
Will you be flying JAL in C? If so, then you can have access, if you can get through security, which I don't think you will be able to do at CDG
