I flew an L1011 from JFK to MEX in 1977 and I think it was on TWA. I remember how incredibly roomy and comfortable the plane felt in coach. Probably the single most pleasant flight I've had in coach, outside of some Braniff flights where we were plied with steak and fine wine (but that's for another thread).
