OK here's to problem

Netflix uses the address in your AA profile linked through your Advantage # AND your e-mail if you try to sign-up using both or either you will get rejected.

The confusing part is that the rejection does not tell you that I could be your AA profile address it just says " e-mail allready linked to existing account" ... even if you create a brand new e-mail address and go in to sign up.
I had signed up but not used the services at all about 8 years ago ( a CSR I spoke to confirmed the system remembers that) and the link provided by the AA email would not allow me insert me info even when I called their CSR and had them delete that e-mail address,
My wife also got the e-mail, was never a Netflix member and had the same problem so I came to conclusion it must be linking addresses also.
Solution: I changed her address on aa.com to that of her office and used the new e-mail and BINGO!!! the funny thing that after signing up the system allowed delivery to be our home address ( the one causing the previous problems

)

P.S. I was just about to sign up anyway... so if we dont get the miles I wont get too put out by it.
