i just booked thru expedia.com (not .au) and it issued the itinerary showing first class tickets. By far, easier. I haven't checked my email but I don't expect any problems. My qff details were loaded from prior ticketing on expedia.com. The fare, btw, was usd409 so just usd6 extra.
