What? you haven't flown the airline orbitz.com? It's a fantastic airline that hands out peanuts to every passenger, has flat bed seats in economy and free airline tickets when you fly them twice.....don't you realize that I was just pointing out that orbitz simply has that price difference service? And they have it for exactly this type of reason. But I'll grant you that the airline probably doesn't care or lose any money over it.

And to answer your other question, yes, I've actually received vouchers from Continental and from American for price differences. So yes, it is done. You just have to ask....
