Yeah, the reasons I like Linux revolve around open source and open standards. Anything Apple makes is by definition the antithesis of that.
a puzzling statement, since the os x kernel is itself open source, along with numerous other parts such as apache, php, samba, perl, gcc, gdb, etc.
