Only having a week for Greece I would like to be in Athens for 2-3 days and then Santorini and Mykonos for 4-5. Anyway, we are to go to Istanbul from Greece for 1-2 days and then back to the US. This is the only way that I could use my miles, so the flight back from Istanbul is already purchased.

Any advice on ways to get from Santorini to Istanbul?

All I have found so far:

1) 6-8 hour ferry back to Athens ($30-40?) half previous day then Olympic Airlines to Istanbul @ $200 that morning or evening.

2) Same as 3 but Turkish Airlines @ $250

3) Olympic Airlines from Santorini to Athens late one night, then to Istanbul either next morning or evening @ $300

4) Aegean Airlines from Athens to Santorini round trip for $200 each, then Olympic Airlines to Istanbul for $200 each.

Would be perfect if there was anything from Santorini directly to Istanbul, but I'm having no luck!
