1) 8 Jul 2009. Beware problems if you time it too close as flights take 24hrs+ to post, of course.

2) If you do not hit Gold, your account will say Silver until the card expires - 31 Aug. Then it will show BLUE if you have not renewed Silver (you have enough TPs, but see (4)). If you have, then your new Silver year will run until 8 Jul 2010 (and a new card will be issued, with an equally extended expiry period to allow for re-issue delays next time - so 31 Aug 2010).

3) A year from when you hit it, subject to the above same process, rounded up for the 8th of the next month normally - e.g., hit Gold 17th May 2009, your new Gold year then runs to 8th Jun 2010 but the card will likely run through 31 July 2010.

4) In every applicable membership year - so since 8 Jul 2008.
