yes - my reservation has also disappeared from the MMB list after making a change (which resulted in the error message). I can still access the booking via the reference and all is showing as confirmed.
I haven't heard anything about a refund since my change (which was after the fuel surcharge reduction) - I just changed a date on JNB-LHR-JNB.
