For me while the decline against the US$ is a pain I still think everything is affordable.
In my mind I still think of a rate of 1.5-1.7 as normal as this is what I have been doing expenses at for about 15 years so it has stuck.
We got very used to a high of 2 in a short period of time and while this was great and I took advantage of it I never got used to it as the norm.
Hotels are falling in price, I just got the Wynn for $135 for a Friday night, gas is cheap, cheap food is cheap and some shopping is still good value when they sell at the same sticker price.
One thing I have never found good value is higher end restaurants and especially wine.
If you are happy at the cost now but worried it is going to get more expensive then lock in now and convert your money, of course you need to hope it doesn’t go the other way...
