Have trips to Las Vegas and New York planned. I am looking to "down-size" the level of hotel and room and keeping an eye for "deals" on hotels. Stayed in the MGM Skyloft suite twice last year so for a change, I am looking to returning to a small hotel room and "rekindle" the nostalgia when I first started visiting.

For me, accommodation is really the main cost of the hotel

Food in the US is cheap so I do not think exchange rates are an issue if you compare to London standards. Maybe its finding a couple of fun dinners or neighbour restaurant rather than going to the various Michelin star restaurants. Its going for a "different" type of holiday but making it fun. Just takes a bit of work

Taxi fares and/or petrol costs in these two locations are so low compared to London, there really is no issue on these.
