The Fall 2008 Rapid Report (link below) contains a Budget rental car promo. I'm expecting triple reward points (1.5) for a recent rental. A few days ago, Budget posted the standard .5 point. I called Budget and a very friendly person apologized, took my RR number and said my RR points should post within 90 days. He didn't seem to realize what I was asking for however. Does this sound correct? Has anyone dealt with Budget on this issue before? Any suggestions? The rental started on 1/4/09 and ended on 1/8/09. To be honest, I'm a little surprised that the standard credit posted already.

Many snafu's with Budget posting bonus credits. I ran into the same issue in LAS, and discovered that franchise Budgets do not participate in promos. Be sure to read the fine print in any offer, and check, in advance if the Budget you are doing business with is Corporate or Franchise. A phone call to the local should do it.
