According to Art. 3 of the Swiss PBV (Preisbekanntgabeverordnung:
http://www.admin.ch/ch/d/sr/9/942.211.de.pdf) prices in Switzerland have to be announced in CHF. As shipper of the letter the LX address of Basel is indicated. Myself living close to Basel, I cannot see a cross border related offer to sale and consider therefore the offer to be 2000 CHF.
Any help to this issue?
you should only believe lufthansa had made an error issuing you a bill announcing the price in EUR. the payment expected by lufthansa is standardized at 2000 EUR irrelevant of member country. be assured the offer is just short of 3000 CHF depicted unequivically as 2000 EUR.
are you seeking advice to sue for damages of 1000 CHF for betrayal of the preisbekanntgabeverordnung to make the offer into 2000 CHF? this is your only hope to alter the price.
