You can actually get this done in Saigon. It's a helluva lot cheaper if you buy your own material. Check out the shops around the lower 300s of Hai Ba Trung.
Well... I actually used to live on Hai Ba Trung... but never thought to get a suit from there! I'll have a look... certainly more handy than hanging around Hoi An. But I must say I've always been a bit dubious about quality and never saw VN as a place for tailoring, except Hoi An which seems to have it's own industry.
