Unappealing J menu ended up being quite nice

Anyone else have this menu this month in J? I got it and thought to myself this sounds like the "poor J food" that FTers often complain about. My choices are in bold and aside from the smoked salmon and dessert I wasn't too keen on any of the mains however the fish pie was excellent!

This menu appears on the following flights for January: 049,067,069,093,099,103,113,115,175,177,189,193,19 5,197,207,209,213,
215,217,219,229,265,295,299

LUNCH
Starters:
-Smoked salmon with beetroot and horseradish cream
or
-Cannellini beans with butternut squash and fennel scented oil

Salad: Fresh seasonal salad served with vinaigrette

Main:
-Fish pie of smoked haddock, cod and prawn
-Braised oxtail with vegetable casserole
-Liam Tomlin's pumpkin gnocchi with Fontina cheese
-Chilled main course salad of smoked paprika and garlic chicken with roast sweet potato

Dessert
-Orange and almond tart with Seville orange cream
-Tasty Lancashire with oatcakes and biscuits
