Quite and certainly something they shouldn't be boasting about, or even discussing with passengers. And aren't cabin crew not supposed to be drinking x hours before a flight too

As for the buggy, a lot depends on how busy the flight is and how many other buggies are on board. It's nice that the crew try to help as much as they can, but it does make it difficult for the ground staff when these inconsistencies happen as passengers don't always understand why it's allowed one time and not the next.
