Yep, but for me it's also:
- soft seat blocking in Y and longhaul C
- a guaranteed exit row seat
- better lounges (SEN lounges have food, premium magazines on demand etc.)
- F check-in and security (and sometimes immigration)
- luggage privileges
- eVouchers
- X-Mas present in the USA (basically 48k additional free award miles each year)
- free LH credit cards in the US and in Germany
Add the following for me:
- soft seat blocking in F (very helpful if travelling alone on the 747)
- no hassle with a 2nd carry-on in Y at all (as long as the plane is not 100% full)
- priority for rebookings during IROPs
