Comparison of OW Premium Economy products

A recent trip to Oz on QF in the Premium Economy cabin was a very pleasant surprise, having previously travelled WT+ on BA back from NBO.

The circumstances of the flights were different: the WT+ was effectively a downgrade as there was no space in J, whereas the QF PE was an op-up. (Initially just LHR-SIN, but then SIN-SYD as well .)

It appeared to me that the QF product was very much a mini-Business class whilst BA's was only Economy with a slightly better seat. Do others here agree with me or did the circumstances affect my opinion? What about the other OW carriers with PE? I tried a forum search to see if this has been discussed before & found nothing apart from the discussions about LAN's PE, which revolves mainly around the xONEx impact rather than the product in its own right.

Perhaps those with experience of PE on the OW carriers would like to share them with the rest of us.
