I've flown the A319 FRA-DXB recently. The seats are older and worn, but I found them comfortable enough. I believe the BBJs are a little more recent. Ultimately what you will get is a scheduling decision, depending on booked loads (the incoming DXB flight goes to Pune next).
While it is true that the front rows are less noisy, it appears they are busier because of this. So, if you want nobody next to you, a row in the back might be the better choice.
I was sitting in exit row (6 or 7, can't remember) on both flights which has a little more seat pitch.
