I know that Avis and Budget are owned by the same group, but somehow I thought that each brand kept its own fleet, separate from the other brand. That is until this week, when I rented an Avis car and in the glove compartment I found the rental agreement of the previous rental -- a Budget rental agreement.

Also, that previous renter was a hard driver. Picked it up in MSP and dropped off in LAX two days later. That's about 2000 miles in 2 days.
