If finding out how the incoming aircraft is doing is that important to you, why not take out and boot up your fancy shmancy laptop, log in to the Wifi system at the airport, and pull up the airport's arrivals screen or go on AC's website to do the query yourself. Or get flighttracker or something. Why do you need an agent to do it for you?

I guess you didn't notice the "free wifi internet at LAS" signs.
I guess that you have forgotten that I do not own/carry a laptop.

I guess that you did not notice that in the previous post I have indicated that the TV monitors/arrival screen in T2 of LAS did not display the arrival information or the departure information, of the plane at the the gate in question.

You tell me why anyone on this forum asking about AC regulations is NOT entitled to ask an AC representative on FT to respond and quote those regulations. If you know the regulations, then why don't you post them yourself. You tell me if (notwithstanding the responses from resgirl and fly-yul) all the AC telephone reservation agents are knowledgeable in getting this information and/or interpret the regulations in such a way that they feel they are allowed (or not) to give out this information to customers requesting this information.
