Stranded in the LAX marriot now because United "accidentally" offloade me. Had some pretty good supervisors trying to sort it out for me but I still don't get why the offload a Paid C pax while processing tons of upgrades.. Interestingly they even knew about the EU regulations for IDB and calculated the compensation for it, although the number looks rather low to me (probably just using the based fare and ignoring taxes & surcharges).
I can't believe it...but maybe it's due to them reciprocating as to how LH behaves with UA members??
(Anyway, I do not sanction this inequality, and especially as HON, they should know better...sorry to hear this!)
