I belive that the checkin staff at LAS are not AC staff so that might have had something to do with it. Normally in the past, if you call in you are able to get this kind of information.

I am talking about AC telephone reservation agents. I presumed that the plane was coming from YVR (actually it came from YYC), as the departing flight was to YVR. About 1 hr before scheduled departure, the plane was still not at the gate. So I asked the AC telephone reservation agent, whether she could tell me the flight number of the arriving plane, the departing city of the arriving plane, and when it would arrive in LAS. She told me that AC telephone reservation agents did not have that capability to track the status of a given plane in terms of linking the status of the arriving and departing flights. However, I have done this sucessfully several times in the past with AC telephone reservation agents. I wanted to know if only a few agents had this capability - or whether all agents had this capability - and whether this agent who told me that no agent could do this, was making that statement in error?
