Just did FRA-BLR in C>F. I got to FRA about 3 hours before the FRA-BLR (arriving from SFO on UA900). Went to the SEN lounge and asked for the upgrade. She said she would call me. I went to take a show an about an hour later, still no call. I went up and asked again, and she said she could not get hold of catering, and that she cannot do any upgrade unless catering is settled. I had to stand in front of her for another 30 minutes and keep asking her to call. She finally got through 70 minutes before the flight. She said this was too late (90 minute cut off), but apparently catering gave the OK.

So it was a bit of a pain and I never did get to see the FCL, since at that point I had to take the LONG walk over to C16. But, the LH experience in F was terrific! The seats are WAY WAY WAY out of date. Like 20 years out of date! But the service was impeccable.
