Today I checked the GP website to search the room rate in China regional and found that
Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin will be opening mid-February, 2009 and will be accepting reservations from March 15, 2009. (
so that means opening schedule may change?)
Referred the
website, it mentioned "More room types and dates will be added at a later stage. The following facilities will not yet be available when the hotel opens initially: Regency Club lounge, Camp Hyatt, Tin Tin Bar, Sha Tin 18, Lobby/Gourmet Shop, Pool Bar and Melo Spa."
I called to GP service center in Hong Kong and inform me that Diamond member will not be able to get Regency Club lounge access/benefits during the opening stay.
"Any supplementary measure for this issue?"
GP: "You have to check with local hotel directly..."
"So how about the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong,Tsim Sha Tsui?"
GP: "Opening schedule still not confirmed yet..."
Okay, then I booked a room on MTN VIEW KING and daily rate is HKD$1200 plus 10% surcharge. Friendly price but so far far away to the city center...
