I have been there twice. The last time for 3 days over Thanksgiving 08.

Good location (my opinion, others may disagree). Fine smallish lobby. Fantastic breakfast on the rooftop. Very very nice staff (especially Paolo). Didn't try the restaurant or bar as it looked depressing with no-one ever there.

No club lounge.

Lack of newspapers. I really enjoy a Herald with my morning tea and this property doesn't delivery any newspapers to the rooms but does have the (useless) US Today in the breakfast room and one copy of the Herald on a stick in the lobby so you can only read it there.

Cable internet worked ok but lack of electrical outlets near the desks. Internet well priced for europe (I think there was a 3 day special price of around 18e--priced by the day as well).

Rooms are very disappointing. The first stay we began in a VERY basic twin room on the Executive Level with nice view of the port but it did not have enough electrical outlets for my computer, printer, cell, etc so they very kindly moved us to a Jr Suite with large bathroom on the same floor. Again furnishings very basic but the view was lovely and more space.

This time they upgraded us upon arrival to a very large 2 bath suite on the 6th floor. But it was a mess. Plumbing was noisy and kept overflowing with sewage. Fixed promptly but happened about once a day so we were happy to leave. TVs in all the rooms we stayed in were small screen and relics of the 1960s.

Hotel needs a renovation to the furnishings and plumbing. Not worth the 155e we paid. Will look for another option next time we return to one of our favorite Italian cities, Naples. We did go the the nearby Jolly and asked to see some rooms which were nice. Perhaps that will be our next stop.
