I don't have any experience with the CS, but a general suggestion - check out Amtrak's own ontime statistics, as well as amtrakdelays.com. Relative to Amtrak's overall statistics for the route, your experience is likely to be better than the mean since the train begins in LA (the odds would be against you if you were doing the reverse). Amtrakdelays.com can give you delay stats specific to #11 / #14 arriving at PRB although only based on the past few weeks of data.
