removed J an F reward bookings as an option on the A380 using the SkyWards program. Has anyone tried to book them using OnePass points? Any idea if we are now shut out of these rewards, too??
This week, I got the A380, 2 seats in J for travel on Feb 1, returning BKK-DXB-JFK-FLL. But the 777-300 from BKK-DXB only has a 48 inch pitch. First checked availability on Emirates Skywards program as a guideline, and about 12 hours later received an e-mail with the new itinerary. The week before the agent tried to charge more than 300,000 miles per ticket instead of 120,000.
For seat selection tips see the Emirates board. It looks like seatexpert.com may be more reliable than seatguru.com. Window and the two center seats have more pitch and seat length. It should be fun.
I have seen the A380 in Singapore. It will be nice to experience it.
