Not a prohibited item, so you should be OK unless you get an idiot TSO who perceives it as a weapon! I'd say there's about a 1% chance of that happening.

It will probably trigger a bag search depending on whether it creates an opaque image on the X-ray screen. Don't assume this means impending confiscation ... most likely they'll just be checking to make sure nothing is being concealed by it.
