Having been in both lounges many times, I don't see what the attraction is of the Terraces lounge, First or Biz, over AA's FL. They both give you wi-fi access, the booze and snacks are comparable (not the same, but reasonably close). The only difference I can think of is Terraces has a dinner option available if you will be there at that time.

As far as access, if you already airside in T7 and you qualify as stated before they will let you in but not before you get some strange looks and some checking with colleagues. IME, some of the personnel at the Terraces are not the best when it comes to OW access rules. But if you are streetside I would be absolutely amazed if TSA let's you through security holding an AA BP.
