My partner and I are flying down to FL to help my retired parents move back up north to be closer to us. We'll be packing up several suitcases and bringing the bags back with us via UA while they take the auto train.

I'm 1K. My partner who is on a different PNR is a Premier.

Question becomes: How many bags total can we check in and is there a weight limit?

I'm guessing that UA will extend my privileges to my partner since we are traveling together and that we'll each be able to check in 3 bags for a total of 6?

(I couldn't find the answer I was looking for in the FAQ and there are discrepancies on the UAL website so here I am)
