I did SA J LHR-CPT-LHR a couple of years ago, flight down was superb, excellent really switched on crew. Flight back was awful, crew couldn't give a toss. Service was rude, slow and uninterested.

My only recent SA experience, but colleagues have told me that crew variability is still an issue.
