I just checked in for a 4 night FFN stay. Sadly I did not get an upgraded room as I frequently have here, but that's not to big a deal as I am traveling alone -- do have a Fuji view, which this time of year is usually lovely. But a very pleasant surprise: I was given a Gift Certificate for Lunch for two at Girandole (worth $100 or so) for having stayed here more than 15 nights. I actually have stayed here about 50 nights since it opened . . . but have never once paid for a room, always points or FFN -- rake rate here is way out of my budget. This is probably my favorite hotel.
