But how many direct flights does DL operate to Bordeaux, by comparison? Ottawa is a metro area of 1.2 million people. It's dominated by AC. A big subset of travel will be government-related with preference to a Canadian carrier. DL can't operate flights YOW-Canada. Sorry - it's a reality.
I don't know the exact stats but think pop is closer to 1.5M when surrounding areas are factored in. Again, dont know stats but YOW has a high median imcome. It's obviously Govt based but there is still a lot of tech. UA (a smaller airline than NW/DL) has close to 10 flights / day to ORD / IAD on E70 / CRJ900.

This city has no bias to AC. In fact, pre-clearing US customs in YOW is a seamless way to go and you can,t do that if you connect in YYZ or YUL on AC.

Not expecting hourly service but thought the city could support flights if times right. DL had 2 poorly timed flights from YOW prior to CNX.
710a - Plane is here overnight. Why not depart at 6 to arrive in ATL before 9a?
2p - Not sure who this flight appeals to?

Would have liked to see 6am and 4p YOW departures with 11a and 8p ATL departures . . . Even if they have to be on a CRJ. Fitting since we built the things
