I am no expert about MFU, but I think you could be right.

I have a MFU booking for later this year (my first one) and MMB is showing the correct TPs and BA Miles, which gives me some comfort that they will post correctly after
each flight. We shall see.....

You may wish to call BA now and check with them to try and save some hassle after you travel.
