Booked on .bomb flying ORD-MUC and DUS-ORD both direct both on LH metal. Cash tickets in Economy.
Flight has been booked for 3 months. Noticed in my itinaries Schedule Change (seems all 9 of my pending United flights have had this). Seems LH no longer flies direct from DUS on Mondays so I now leave 1 hr earlier connect in FRA and arrive 2 hours later than original. Oh and the best part United Metal!!
I have no status with United since most my flights are short haul flights.

I called United asking if they would bump me to E+ (on the return United flight) free of charge for the extra 3 hrs of travel time. They said NO since its LH fault not theirs. This is true but I did purchase my tix with United. I mentioned the fact I wasn't pleased flying on United when at least LH offers free drinks in E. They said they could refund (check fares and this wont work as they have increased) orthey could switch me to a LH flight but the times do not work for me. Any suggestions that might help get me moved to E= or some other compensation?
