So, I got a ticket credit last year for around $750. It expires tomorrow and I want to extend it (i really don't have anywhere to travel to right now, but I don't want to forfeit the $$). I called United Customer Service already and they told me they can't extend it. So, I'm thinking that I can book a flight and quickly cancel it, thus extending the credit another year. Does anyone have any experience extending a United Ticket Credit? Any advice is appreciated.
