Unfortunately, when I just logged into my website I show no status, at all. I knew that AS didn't soft drop like most do (AS MVP would have been nice) but I just assumed that they would at least give status til February of the following year.
Here, I could have flown AS and
possibly started giving business to them and
possibly could have reach MVP again (though not Gold). Instead,
I have no incentive to fly AS and
might just rebook on another airline.
Bad move AS.

Hmm... you've hardly flown Alaska as
you've chosen to switch your business over to WN.
And now, on an itinerary where WN is of no use to you, you stroll back to Alaska as if you'd never left and expect them to treat you like a valuable passenger.
What is with this misplaced sense of entitlement? I probably would have just shaken my head and let this thread slide, but you've backed up your tale of woe with an empty assertion that you might
possibly have started giving business to Alaska again, and, worse yet, you finish by threatening to take your now paltry business (1 or 2 flights on the itinerary in question) away from Alaska because they won't give you what you haven't even come close to earning.
The rules for earning and maintaining elite status in Alaska's Mileage Plan are clearly stated in your welcoming packet as well as on the airline's website. Have you read them?
Based upon what you've submitted here, all you're likely to give Alaska is a big headache. Sorry I'm not being "softer" about this but people who
expect benefits they
clearly haven't earned really burn me up.
Bad move,

Enjoy the service and benefits at Southwest.
