Caveat: I have not flown on a Delta 777.

I fly on AA's 777s often. AA's 777 row 31 is the equivalent of the Row 44 you speak of. It is an outstanding seat, with tons of legroom (you will actually be sitting facing an FA jumpseat). I don't think you could pick a better seat than one of the Row 44 seats.

The one warning with the window seats in that row is that the hump on the emergency exit door holding the slide juts into your space a little. This never bothers me, but wanted to mention it (I prefer the window seat to lean against the wall)
