I just "reserved" 3 nights (9/19-9/21) at the Marriott Renaissance (downtown Munich) on Priceline (name price) for $100 per + fees. (It may be possible to get it for less.) This hotel sells for over $450 per during Octoberfest. You will not find a hotel in Munich for less than $200/night during this time.
