Adding to the "inflation" from the 2-month carryover is NW's "soft landing." It wasn't pleasant for me when I went from Gold to nuthin' on AS but I can appreciate the "thinning of the heard" effect of a 12/31 firm end date and no soft landings. Think of it as a fresh start to re-qualifying for 2010 if that's in the cards for you.
