Alaska Elite Level over at 12/31 not 02/28(of next year)

I have to say, this last year, I've hardly flown Alaska as I've chosen to switch my business over to WN.

However, on one particular itinerary I just had to fly on a non-WN flight and so I chose Alaska figuring I'd have elite status in February.

Unfortunately, when I just logged into my website I show no status, at all. I knew that AS didn't soft drop like most do (AS MVP would have been nice) but I just assumed that they would at least give status til February of the following year.

Here, I could have flown AS and possibly started giving business to them and possibly could have reach MVP again (though not Gold). Instead, I have no incentive to fly AS and might just rebook on another airline.

Bad move AS.
