I really love Fresh & Easy and I have only shopped at the Manhattan Beach location. I must have gone there 3 times over the Thanksgiving weekend. I sure wish there were more of 'em all across the country.

I used to love Trader Joe's the same way, but after doing price comparisons in the last two months, I found that very few things are still cheaper at Trader Joe's than at Kroger etc. They used to be a true low-cost shop, but I think they have raised their prices too much. An example - CLIF Kidz bars are .69 at TJ's and .49 at Whole Foods. PLUS, at Whole Foods you get a quantity discount if you buy a bunch. Another example - 5lb box of Clementines at Trader Joes was 6.99, but 4.99 across the street at a big chain grocer.
