I have about 100,000 Hilton points and 20,000 Starwood points. I thought about getting a Hilton GLON2 award.

The idea is to move the 20000 *points to American Airlines (25,000 miles) and then to Hilton (50000 hpoints). This would give me the req. 150,000 for the Hilton GLON2 award.

Would you do that? I have never redeemed with Hilton. Is the availability for the GLON2 fairly ok? I am a Hilton Gold and won't be a Diamond anytime soon. No status with *wood at all.
