Newbie question: is the COS bonus status miles or destination miles?

Hi,

I am currently planning to switch loyalty (I this forum might see a lot of us in the next few days ) and I was reading both BMI's website and the sticky in this forum. I have gathered many interesting thing regarding the program (and the fuzzy feeling that bmi doesn't like BAEC), but I missed an important information...

If I fly First Class on LH, I'll get triple miles. OK, got that. But is this "triple status mile" or "one status miles and 2 destination miles". So would a single JNB-NRT in F on LH yield me 22,432 status miles and 44,864 destination miles, or 67,269 status miles?

Second, I read that the monthly destination bonus is "calculated on the base miles for the route flown". The "base miles" is the actual miles, or the miles awarded? If you fly on a cheap fare yielding x0,25 miles, will your monthly destination bonus be calculated on the "0,25 miles" or the miles actually travelled?

Sorry for these dumb questions, but reading bmi's website, I'd have liked to see a few examples...
