They are equally mediocre and I think they take comfort in that. For every elite going out the door, another elite disgruntled with airline ZZ or XX is coming in the door.
Then why don't we have forums for refridgerators? There is a basic line for the masses, and a niche line for those willing to pay more. If you are in a position to allocate your resources in a way that purchases you a product that you are willing to pay for, that is the ultimate form of affirmation.

The MARKETPLACE dictates the products we receive. Last I checked, DL was not a monopoly. You have choices. And YOU have to decide what is the least offensive to you. Do you really believe that if an airline management thought they could capture market share and profit with a different strategy, they would not pursue it immediately?

Seriously, I am not happy with many, MANY of the changes. So I am looking for a better fit for my carrier. My dollars will speak so much leffectively that any words I write here.
